  • Extended Consultations - Does your pet have lots of things going on and you would like more time to discuss his/her health with the doctor? Just let our staff know you would like to book an extended consultation to make sure you have time to get everything addressed in one appointment.

  • Behavioural Consultations A discussion with our knowledgeable veterinarians about your pet’s specific behaviour concerns. They will also examine your pet to look for any potential medical issues that could be causing unwanted behaviour.

  • Nutritional Consultations – An appointment with one of our knowledgeable Registered Veterinary Technician. Includes diet recommendations, weight loss or gain plans, nutritional/dietary resources.

  • Annual Examinations and Vaccinations Done yearly, a complete comprehensive examination, vaccinations (core and optional vaccines based on individual lifestyle), fecal analysis (testing for intestinal parasites).

  • Pharmacy We have an in-house pharmacy that provides short and long-term medications, parasite treatment and preventatives. We also have access to compounding pharmacies for more specialized/specific medication needs. Do you have trouble giving your pet pills? Our compounding pharmacy can compound medications with flavors your pet likes or put it into a chew or liquid if you prefer.

  • Medical Diagnostics (such as):

    • Blood Work – Preventative blood work helps us establish a healthy baseline for your pet. Blood work is also used to diagnose illness and disease and help guide anesthesia protocols. Specialized tests may uncover heart disease, kidneys disease, tick-borne diseases, hormonal conditions and so much more .

    • Urinalysis – Chemical and physical analysis of urine is critical in the diagnosis of many conditions. Our doctors and technicians are adept at reading urine samples and determining of bacteria is a problem or if a bladder stone or other issue is present.

    • Digital Radiology – Provides high quality, pain-free imaging in seconds with less radiation exposure allowing for same-day diagnostics and treatment plans. Our additional digital dental radiology is ideal for uncovering periodontal disease and tooth decay that cannot be seen on examination and allowing us to address problems before they result in a pet not eating or being unwell.

    • Abdominal Ultrasound – Our veterinarians use our ultrasound in innumerable ways, From painlessly looking at soft-tissue anatomy to taking biopsies, to helping diagnose a disease or confirm a suspected diagnosis, ultrasound is an incredibly useful tool. Our veterinarians can also use this to safely diagnose pregnancy. For more complicated cases, our vets have relationships with a number of internal medicine specialists who can come in and conduct ultrasounds so your pet can come in and be with the people they know instead of having to go to a big referral center.

    • Cytology – The examination of cells and microbes under a microscope can help diagnose masses, parasitic/bacterial/yeast infections, stage reproductive cycles or help us do a critical cell count.

    • Histology – The examination of biological tissue. Histology is important in the diagnosis of masses, tumors and soft tissue abnormalities.

    • Specialized Diagnostic Tests – Available through an external professional lab for hundreds of different conditions.

  • External Specialists – Our veterinarians have a network of board certified experienced specialists available for referral or consultation. Veterinary specialists are available in all disciplines including (but not limited to) Dermatology, Cardiology, Orthopedic Surgery, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Radiology, Pathology, Prosthetics, Physiotherapy, Behaviour and more.

  • Laser Therapy – Our therapeutic laser is used post-surgically and with any condition that involves inflammation. The beneficial effects include increased circulation, reduced inflammation, pain reduction and enhanced tissue healing. Laser therapy is an effective and pain-free therapy for osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain/injury and post-surgical or wound healing as well as so many other conditions.

  • Surgery - large or small, young or old, our doctors will ensure it is safe to go ahead with surgery and then your pet will receive excellent, personalized care from the moment they enter the hospital until the moment they are back in your arms. We understand surgery and anaesthesia is scary. That’s why we are here to answer as many questions as you have before we go ahead.
